Edwardsburg gets past Dowagiac 45-35

Visiting Edwardsburg held off Dowagiac 45-35 in a Wolverine Conference West Division girls basketball game Wednesday night.
It was the final home game of the season for the Chieftains, who fell behind 14-8 in the opening quarter, but managed to stay close throughout the contest.
The Eddies led 21-12 at halftime and 37-26 heading into the fourth quarter.
Alexis Blake had 12 points to lead Edwardsburg, which finished second in the West Division standings behind Three Rivers. Olivia Hack added 10 points and Savannah Dixon eight.
Taylor Hulett and Rayven Brown both had 10 points for the Chieftains, who also got seven points from Crieona Rodgers.
