Bobcats remain unbeaten with win over Bears

The Brandywine girls basketball team picked up its 17th win of the season as it defeated visiting St. Joseph 53-29 Tuesday night.
The Bobcats (17-0) got off to a slow start, but finished strong against the Bears, who drop to 6-12.
Leading just 8-6 after one quarter, Brandywine outscored St. Joseph 45-23 to remain undefeated heading into Thursday’s regular season and Lakeland Conference finale against Cassopolis.
Tamy Lee had a game-high 18 points for the Bobcats, who also got nine points from both Emily Erwin and Michaela Hartline.
Sarah Punches led the Bears with six points.
