A quick start by visiting Paw Paw spelled doom for the Dowagiac girls basketball team Tuesday night.

The Redskins outscored Dowagiac 20-3 in the opening quarter and went on to cruise to a 67-39 Wolverine Conference non-divisional victory over the Chieftains.

Kayli Bowen led Paw Paw with 13 points, while Breiann Daves added 11.

Dowagiac’s Rayven Brown led all scorers with 19 points, Jenesis Green finished with six.
