Lack of scoring sends Chieftains to defeat

The Dowagiac girls basketball team continues to struggle to score points.
Visiting Plainwell scored 12 points in three of the four quarters and 13 in the other en route to a 49-19 Wolverine Conference non-divisional victory Tuesday night.
The Chieftains (3-8) trailed 12-3 after one quarter and 25-8 by halftime.
Rayven Brown led Dowagiac with 14 points. She was the lone player to score more than two points for the Chieftains.
Sarah Morrell had a game-high 19 points for the Trojans,
