BUCHANAN — Visiting Brandywine kept its stranglehold on the Lakeland Conference with a 57-43 win over Buchanan in girls basketball Friday night.
The Bobcats (8-1, 2-0 Lakeland) led 12-6 after one and 32-24 by halftime. The lead reached 12 points (42-30) heading to the final quarter.
Michaela Hartline has a career-high 23 points to lead Brandywine and all scorers. Tammy Lee added 14 points.
Jade Mosier led the Bucks (4-3, 1-0 Lakeland) with 11 points.
