David Maxey, of Dowagiac married Megan Stites, of Kalamazoo, on Oct. 4, 2013.

David is the son of Fanny and Chris Maxey. Megan is the daughter of Karen and David Stites.

David and Megan both attended Michigan State University. Megan studied agriculture and food marketing and graduated in 2009. She is now a cost negotiator for Gordon Food Services.  David studied business marketing and graduated in 2010. He now works with internal compliance for Farmer’s Insurance.

David and Megan married at the Ballroom of the City Flats Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich. Courtney Ulloa, a sister, was Megan’s matron of honor. Adam Maxey, David’s brother, was the best man. Father Rob Goodridge, uncle of the bride, officiated the wedding.
