Kemner-Iott Agency of Cass County, an employee-owned company, is just as dedicated to giving back to the community as they are helping customers with all of their insurance needs. Kemner-Iott employees are encouraged to support positive community activities in Cass, Lenawee, and Washtenaw counties.

United in Michigan

One of the organizations that Kemner-Iott actively supports is the United Way of Southwest Michigan. As stated on their website (www.uwsm.org), United Way of Southwest Michigan “engages the community to identify the underlying causes of the most significant local issues, develops strategies and pulls together financial and human resources to address them, and measures the results.” The employee owners at Kemner-Iott Agency of Cass County want to be part of the change, which is why we are so excited to once again be partnering with the United Way.

Reaching Goals

Kemner-Iott is working in conjunction with other area businesses to help the United Way reach its 2013-2014 $3.3 million campaign goal to benefit area education, income, health and basic needs. To help the organization achieve their United Way fund raising goal, employees have held an open house, participated in United Way’s 2013 School Supplies Spectacular and raked leaves on Live United Senior Help Day. Kemner-Iott’s employee owners were recognized as United Way Pace Setters, conducting their workplace campaign in August.

Living Connected

Giving back to the communities helps the employees at Kemner-Iott grow as individuals and as a business, and connects them to the things that really matter.
