Loyal Modene Hickey, 87, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, in Buchanan, Mich.

Loyal was born on August 16, 1926 to Alice Lois Allen and Thomas Ellis Rentfro, in Dover Arkansas. In August of 1941 Loyal married William Loyd Hickey who precedes her in death. She was a former member of Michiana Christian Embassy in Niles.

Loyal is survived by son: William Hickey of Canton, GA, daughters: Shirley (Phillip) Mayhew of Niles, MI, Darlene (James) Knebert of Emory, TX, and Kathy (Daniel) Mercer of Plainfield, IL, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Loyal is also preceded in death by her parents and brother Albert Fay Rentfro.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday December 19, 2013 at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan The Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday December 20, 2013 at Hoven Funeral Home with Pastor Kirk Truex of St. Mark Missionary Church in Goshen, IN officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
