For the past three years, the Cass County Council On Aging has had a group of women who gather monthly to write diligently about a chosen topic.

This year, the theme was “time,” and the women gathered throughout the entire year to write about moments in time, reflections on time, their relationship with time and the many ways that time impacts their lives.

“This group is part of a national program called ‘The Women’s Story Circle,’” said Dona Billey-Weiler, director of the COA’s Institute for Lifelong Learning. “The goal is to allow women to share real stories from their lives.”

The book contains writings that are moving, inspiring, funny and very creative.

The book of the women’s writings is available for sale at only $5 a copy.

It is available at the Gift Shop at the COA Lowe Center in Cassopolis at 60525 Decatur Road and at the COA’s Front Street Crossing at 227 S. Front St. in Dowagiac.

Quantity discounts are available for book clubs and libraries.
