Clyde Edward Hendershott, 81, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 3, 2013.



He will be dearly missed by sisters Ruth Bedell (Niles, Michigan) and Shirley McKinley (Lafayette, Indiana) and brother Ralph Hendershott and the many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews who survive him.

Clyde was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War (three tours of duty).

Clyde had many careers in his lifetime, including French Paper Mill, Pawating Hospital and The Grand Hotel of Mackinaw Island, Michigan.

Memorial contributions in Clyde’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army USA of which he was an avid supporter.

A memorial service for Clyde will be held in July 2014 in Niles, Mich.
