Gladys Smith practices the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation skills she learned on a training dummy. Smith was one of several people who received free CPR lessons Saturday morning at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital. The classes were taught by Sandra McGuire, the hospital’s training center coordinator, who showed attendees basic life saving techniques for both adults and children. “I wish everyone would learn CPR,” said Smith, who also works for hospital’s registration department. “That way, anyone could save a life.” Leader photo/TED YOAKUM
