Niles, Brandywine cagers holding food drives

The Niles Athletic Booster Club will be supporting the Salvation Army Friday night at the Niles boys and girls basketball games against visiting Mattawan.

The booster club will donate a free bag of popcorn to anyone who brings a food item (or two) to the games. The girls game tips off at 5:45 p.m. and the boys game at 7:15.

The boosters will also donate a bag of popcorn in exchange for food items at games on Dec. 17, 18 and 20.

 

Brandywine drive Saturday

Brandywine Bobcat basketball fans are being asked to help with a food drive Saturday night.

The Bobcats will be hosting Benton Harbor Dream Academy in a doubleheader beginning with the girls game at 5 p.m. and the boys game at approximately 6:30.

Fans can get in free with at least $4 worth of canned or packaged non-perishable food, which will be collected at the gate.

Normal gate admission is $5.
