COLOMA — The Dowagiac JV football team outscored host Coloma 20-0 in the first half on its way to a 35-12 victory Thursday night.

Dowagiac finished with 187 yards in total offense, led by Jacob Davis’ 78 yards on 10 carries. Nate Tackitt, Nate Ward and Ronnie Payne all scored rushing touchdowns for the Chieftains.

Scott Hassle was 1-of-4 for 10 yards and a touchdown toss to Austin Taggert.

Defensively for the Chieftains, Logan Eby had a pair of interceptions and Payne picked off a pass.
