Niles wrestlers Fritzel Findeisen and Nicholas Zimmerman will continue their wrestling and academic careers at Olivet College according to Vikings’ coach Todd Hesson.

Findeisen, who recently won the Leader Publications Athlete of the Year Award, is a two-time state qualifier. He finished second in Division 2 last March at 152-pounds.

He holds the career record for wins with 163 and takedowns.

Zimmerman was also a state qualifier this past season. He has over 100 career victories.

“Olivet will be a good fit for both,” Hesson said. “They have new facilities and coach (Brandon) Brissett does a good job developing wrestlers. It is a small college atmosphere and a great place for them to continue their education.”
