The Brandywine golf team finally snapped Bridgman’s stranglehold on the Lakeland Conference Monday.

The Bobcats defended their home course and ended the Bees’ streak of winning all previous jamborees at Signal Point.

Brandywine shot 192 as a team to edge Cassopolis, which shot 196 and Bridgman, which finished third with a 197.

Alec DeJonge earned medalist honors with a 39. DeJonge has earned or tied for medalist honors in five of the seven league jamborees.
