Monday, May 6
‘Romeo & Juliet —
Goshen Shakespeare Theatre’
8 p.m.
Goshen Theatre
216 S. Main St., Goshen, Ind.
(574) 535-0808

Just when you thought your life was filled with drama, along comes Romeo and Juliet. It’s a classic but, at some point, you have to buckle under the stereotypes that the storyline relies upon: overbearing parents from feuding familes that keep two starcrossed teenagers apart. They love each other but … why??? Is the teenage dating pool only five people thick? POISON! DECEPTION! Messages sent via messenger! Oh, it’s so melodramatic, yet the conclusion makes us all appreciate the immediacy of texting.

(574) 235-9190

The backstory to the “Wizard Of Oz,” or should I say, the ORIGINAL backstory before “The Great And Powerful OZ.” Don’t miss this live production while it’s at the Morris.
