COLDWATER — The Niles girls basketball team struggled to score in the opening round of the Coldwater Holiday Tournament.

The Vikings managed just 10 first half points in a 44-27 loss to Williamston Thursday afternoon.

Niles trailed 14-4 after one quarter and 28-10 at halftime. Williamston led 37-21 heading into the final quarter.

Libby Moody had 12 points for the Vikings, who also got 10 points from Elyse Zimmerman.

Sarah Schultz has 12 points for Williamston.
