Fort St. Joseph Museum hosts Holiday Open House

The Fort St. Joseph Museum will host its Holiday Open House, themed “First Carriage House Christmas by Cornelius Chapin Mouse,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1.

There will be activities for children of all ages including crafts and a Christmas history hunt. Each child will also receive a bag of treats to take home. Cornelius Chapin Mouse will be available to have pictures taken with children of all ages.

Members of the Brandywine High School History Club will be helping at the craft tables. Holiday decorations are being provided by St. Mary’s Elementary School students. Niles artist Heather Van Dyke Pletcher is providing a coloring page for one of the crafts and an enlarged color copy of the page to be mounted in the museum entrance.

There is no admission charge, and all program activities are free.
