Niles girls 12th, boys 15th at SMAC Championships

STURGIS — The Niles girls and boys cross country teams finished 12th and 15th at the SMAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Sturgis Saturday.
Gull Lake won the girls team championship. St. Joseph was second.
Becca Schott of Coldwater was the overall winner with a time of 19:11.
St. Joseph won the boys title with host Sturgis finishing second.
The Bears David Berry was the individual champion with a time of 16:18.
