STEVENSVILLE — Host Lakeshore scored a pair of goals in the first half en route to a 3-0 win over Niles in the opening round of the Division 2 District Soccer Tournament Tuesday.

Paalu Heilman and Liam Conner scored in the fourth and 22nd minutes of the opening half to give the Lancers a 2-0 halftime lead.

Alex Meilstrup completed the scoring with a goal in the 79th minute.

Niles was outshot by Lakeshore 14-6. Ryan Casey had 11 saves for the Vikings.
