The Language of Birds: Rosa Luxemburg and Me

Fourth annual South Bend Zombie Walk

The dead will rise for the South Bend Zombie Walk, an all-ages event at Howard Park (“Bring your infant child or your 99-year-old grandma!” the Facebook page insists). Bands and DJs; live wrestling from 1 to 4 p.m.; games for all ages; food vendors; brain-eating contest at 2 and 5 p.m.; haunted house booths; haunt-related vendors; zombie makeup artists and more. 17th Lemon Creek Winery Harvest Fest

Lemon Creek Winery and NPR celebrate the public radio station WVPE’s 40th anniversary with wine tasting, live music, rides and grilled food. Even enjoy hayrides and a hot air balloon ride, weather permitting. Admission $10 for ages 21 and over (free for those under 21, with family); includes wine tasting tickets and a souvenir wine glass.
