NEW BUFFALO — The Brandywine boys cross country team finished eighth at the New Buffalo Invitational Wednesday.

Watervliet was the overall winner with a total time of 1:30:00.

The Bobcats posted a time of 1:49:52.

Michael Robbins led Brandywine with a sixth place finish and a time of 18:01. Collin Mattiford was 15th in 19:05 and James Harrell 47th in a time of 22:41.

Evan Zacharski was 55th (24:28) and Joshua Youngs 62nd (25:36).

Brandywine only had one runner in the girls race and did not post a time.

Watervliet was the winner with a time of 2:03:36.

Allison Zacharski finished 41st with a time of 28:57.
