Auditions for Beckwith Theatre’s final production this year, “A Bad Year for Tomatoes,” will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday  in the theater basement.

“A Bad Year for Tomatoes” is a comedy set in present day rural Vermont, where a TV star retires to escape the bright lights and write her autobiography. However, her quirky, nosey neighbors give her no peace and set off a farcical chain of events. The show will be presented the first two weekends in October.

Actors are needed for the production. Currently, auditions are open for four women and three men, ages 30 to 50. For more information or questions, contact Jack Gannon, the production’s director, at (773) 405-6399.
