Under the budget for the Department of Community Health recently sent to the governor to be signed, all Medicaid-eligible children in southwest Michigan will have access to dental care, Sen. John Proos said.
“Bringing the successful Healthy Kids Dental program to Berrien and Cass counties is an important step to help improve the health of thousands of southwest Michigan children and also reduce Medicaid costs,” said Proos, R-St. Joseph. The program covers x-rays, cleanings and other procedures.
