Eddies blank Wildcats

Three Rivers didn’t stand a chance on Tuesday, as Edwardsburg captured a blowout 9-0 win in Division 2 District Baseball action.

The Eddies scored three runs in the sixth on a two-run double by Dalton Raymond and an RBI single by Michael Kempton.

Calib Dill racked up two RBIs on three hits for Edwardsburg. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Three Rivers couldn’t get anything going as long as Kyle Slack was pitching. Slack held Three Rivers hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out eight.

Raymond came on in the sixth and allowed two hits with a strikeout.
