The Dowagiac JV softball team split a pair of games with visiting Three Rivers Tuesday.

The Chieftains won the first game 12-9, but lost the nightcap 8-1.

Bri McCuddy had three hits, while Emily Roach and Leela Smith-Ferrier both had two hits.

Sabrina Ruiz was the winning pitcher.

Carrie Raab took the loss in the second game.
