Brandywine split its Lakeland Conference track meet with visiting Berrien Springs Monday.

The Bobcat boys team defeated the Shamrocks 73-64. Berrien Springs won the girls meet 111-23.

AJ Srmek won four events for Brandywine. He captured the 400-meters with a time of 54.27 and the high jump with a height of 5-10. He was also a member of the winning 3,200- and 1,600-meter relay teams.

Srmek, Collin Mattiford, Tyler Daner and Mike Shelton ran a time of 10:16.46 in the 3,200-meters, while Srmek, Nathan Anders, Shelton and Courtlan Gordon ran a time of 3:52.72 in the 1,600-meters.

The Bobcats had just two winners in the girls meet.

Allison Zacharski captured the 3,200-meters with a time of 17:02.54. Karli Covyeou won the discus with a toss of 73-8.
