Buchanan rallies to earn split with Berrien

BERRIEN SPRINGS — Visiting Buchanan scored four runs in the 11th inning of its Lakeland Conference baseball contest against Berrien Springs to earn a split Tuesday.
After dropping the first game to the Shamrocks, 2-1, the Bucks rallied for the victory in the nightcap with a four-run 11th inning. Nick Troxel’s two-run home run highlighted the winning rally.
Justin Henderson worked 10 innings to earn the victory for the Bucks, who also got two hits from Nathan Henckel.
Cash Krumrie took the loss in the opening game as he scattered six hits over seven innings of work.
Henderson and Dalton Shearer both doubled for Buchanan. Marcus Rough added a pair of singles.
