The Dowagiac JV softball team swept Decatur 13-2 and 12-10 in its season opener March 24.

Sabrina Ruiz was the winning pitcher in the opening game as she struck out five.

Carrie Rabb was the winning pitcher in the nightcap with 10 strikeouts.

The Dowagiac JV baseball team dropped to 1-3 on the season as it was swept by Niles March 27, 18-0 and 8-1.
