Gloria Hostetler, 81

Gloria J. (Cleveland) Hostetler, 81, of Union, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Three Rivers surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 15, 1930 in Bristol, Ind., to Chancy and Wilma (Kull) Wogomon. She married Nelson “Bud” Cleveland, Jr. He preceded her in death.  She later married Robert Hostetler. He also preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Johns; two sisters, Barbara Bowen and Louise Wogomon; and two brothers, Jack Wogomon and Jim Wogomon.
Gloria worked as a beautician, co-owned Bud’s Bar and Restaurant in Union for 33 years and was the postmaster of Union. The great love of her life was her beloved grandchildren with whom she enjoyed spending her time.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Cleveland of Three Rivers and Judy (Jerry) Wolkins of Union; her beloved six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Marguerite Glick of Elkhart and Mary Feltz of Osceola.

Family and friends gathered Saturday, March 10, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis. Additional calling took place at the funeral home Sunday, March 11, from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mary Lou Rasmussen and the Rev. Steven Steele officiating.  Mrs. Hostetler was laid to rest next to her husband in Plum Grove Cemetery in Union on Monday, March 12, in a graveside service at 3:30 p.m.
