Lee W. Grant, 56, of Elkhart, passed Feb. 5, 2012, at his home in Elkhart.
He was born June 15, 1945, in Staunton, Va. He lived most of his life in the Michiana area. Lee was a truck driver, mostly in the RV industry.
Lee married Helen M. Franks on April 15, 1953, and they had five children: Gloria (Steve) Helenbolt, Sonja Grant, Lori Grant, Bryan Grant and Tommy (Brandi) Grant. There are 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Lessie Mays, Barbara (Joe) Patterson, Violet McMinn, Helen Watson and Hoover (Pete) Grant.
Friends and family can visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with visiting one hour before. Burial will be at Edwardsburg Cemetery.
