Officers are investigating two breaking-and-enterings that occurred between 3 and 5 a.m. Thursday.

The Red Bud Liquor Store at 3213 W. Front St. in Buchanan Township was broken into. The thieves broke the door and entered.

A second breaking-and-entering occurred at the AME General Store at 2310 N. Fifth St. in Niles Township at around 5 a.m. The suspect entered through a rear window and fled after activating an alarm.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
