The Krasl Art Center (KAC) kicks off the year with the “Krasl Art Center Members’ Show: In 3D.”

Participation is open to all members of the KAC.  Not a member?  No problem – join when you drop off your artwork.

The show will feature three-dimensional works – through materials, composition or subject matter – for display. There is only one size requirement: Artworks must be able to fit through the KAC’s front doors. All mediums and levels of expertise are welcome.

It is the goal of the Krasl Art Center to dedicate its exhibitions in 2012 to sculpture and 3D designs. This offers an opportunity to open its collection of sculptures and reconnect it to the community.

“Our members are extremely important to us and we are excited to honor them with the privilege of commencing this exciting year of exhibitions; we are pleased to offer our members the opportunity to have their artworks professionally displayed in an accredited art museum,” states Tami Miller, who is the director of exhibitions and collections.

Artwork drop-off is Jan. 18-22. The exhibition is Jan. 27 through Feb. 26. The opening party is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27. It is free and open to the public.
