WMU’s White consensus All-American

KALAMAZOO — The Associated Press announced its All-America Team on Wednesday afternoon and Jordan White earning a spot on the third team makes him the WMU football program’s first ever Consensus All-American.

White is the second wide receiver to earn AP All-America, joining Greg Jennings who did so in 2005.  He is the ninth Bronco to earn a spot on the AP All-America team and the first since Ameer Ismail earned second team in 2006.

White, who was named American Football Coaches Association and Second Team Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America earlier this month, is only the sixth football student-athlete in Mid-American Conference history to accomplish the honor.  He joins Dwight Smith (Akron, 2000), Brad Maynard (Ball State, 1996), Chris Hale (Bowling Green, 1990), Randy Moss (Marshall, 1997) and Dave Zastudil (Ohio, 2001).

The Cleveland, Ohio, native has earned All-America status from the following national organizations and publications:
