DECATUR — The Brandywine wrestling team ran into a pair of pretty good teams Wednesday night in their season opener.

The Bobcats, who are expecting to have a pretty good year as well, ended up falling to the host Raiders 60-22 and to Lakeland Conference foe Edwardsburg 43-36.

Joe Monica was the only Brandywine wrestler with two wins on the night. He pinned both Decatur’s Nathan Gerhold and Edwardsburg’s Garrett Hunsburger.
