Two meth arrests

Cass County Drug Enforcement Team reports that on Wednesday a search warrant was executed in the 54000 block of Indian Lake Road in Silver Creek Township, with two subjects arrested at the scene for drug-related offenses.
During a search of the residential property, detectives report locating methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, components to manufacture meth, meth manufacturing waste and several firearms.
Two adults — one male and one female — were arrested.
The female subject was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth, maintaining a drug house, possession of marijuana and felony firearm charges.
The male subject was arrested for possession of cocaine, maintaining a drug house, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony and felon in possession of a firearm.
The two subjects were lodged at Cass County Jail.
Two children were found to be residing at the residence.
Child Protective Services was called to the scene and the two children were taken into protective custody.
Investigators were assisted at the scene by Cass County Animal Control.
This matter remains under investigation.
