Patricia D. (Mckay) Moyer, 74, of Edwardsburg and Mishawaka, passed to her rest Nov 30, 2011 at her son’s residence in Lakeville, Ind., with all her family at her side.

She was born June 26, 1937 in South Bend, the daughter of Graham Franklin Mckay and Oleta Louella (Day) McKay. She has lived in Michiana all her life. Patricia was retired. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved going to the park to watch plays and concerts in Mishawaka. She loved everything outdoors, especially with her closest friends and family. She loved Notre Dame football games and loved to visit Texas. On Sept. 24, 1972, she married Michael Thomas Moyer.
Patti was predeceased by her husband, Michael Moyer; by her parents; one son-in-law, Tommy Joe Garrard.
Survivors are her brother, Michael (Jacque) McKay of Rockport, Texas; her children, Scott (Debbie) Moyer of Lakeville, Tony (Denise) Catanzarite of Edwardsburg, Mike Catanzarite of Mishawaka, Traci Garrard and Jason (Laura) Moyer, both of Mishawaka. There are 11 loving grandchildren: Jennifer (Keith) Conn of LaPorte, Anthony (Amber) Catanzarite of Indianapolis, Amie Catanzarite and Michael Catanzarite, both of Mishawaka, Lisa (Adam) Catanzarite–Rupert of South Bend, Dominic (Brittney) Catanzarite-Lubelski of Edwardsburg, Alyssa (Brandon) Moyer- Lubelski of Mishawaka, and Alivia, Camryn, Lyla Moyer of Mishawaka. There is one great-grandchild, Olivia Conn of LaPorte and three more being expected.
Family and friends may gather for one hour before memorial services on Friday, Dec 9, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 219 State St., Niles. Officiating will be the Rev. Father David Otto, pastor. Cremation has taken place.
