The Niles City and Niles Charter Township communities have been collaborating for almost a year on a long-range plan for the improvement of the 11th Street Corridor.

The final public input meeting is 6 p.m. Dec. 13. The meeting will be held at the Brandywine Middle/Senior High School Media Center, 1700 Bell Rd. in Niles (corner of Bell and 17th streets).

Anyone interested in the future development of 11th Street (and especially business and property owners along the corridor) are invited to attend this meeting.  Consultants from Land Information Access Association will show maps and corresponding renderings of possible future development designs for discussion.

Call Shelley Klug or Katie Furner at the Southwestern Michigan Economic Growth Alliance office, (269) 683-1833, with questions.
