Pay a fine — with a gift of food

The Bridgman Public Library will be accepting food for fines.  The program runs through Jan. 9.
The Food for Fines program will accept unopened, un-expired nonperishable food items, paper products, personal hygiene items, laundry detergent, dish soap and disposable diapers.
When you bring a donation to the library you must notify the front desk that you have donated food so the staff can remove your fines from your record.
This program is for overdue fines only and does not apply to charges for damaged or lost items.
The items donated will benefit the Bridgman/Lake Township community and distributed by Bridgman Cares.
