Sally Ann Adams, 76, of Edwardsburg, passed away in the morning of Monday, July 25, 2011 at her home from an apparent heart attack.

Sally was born Feb. 25, 1935 in Niles, the daughter of Virdon E. and Nora Jenece (Ruple) Ort. She graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 1952. She was a loving mother and home maker all her life.

Sally was married Feb. 14, 1953 in Ohio to John W. Adams, who survives with their twin daughters, Bonnie (Elmer) Schacks of Edwardsburg and Connie (David) Worthington of Mishawaka, Ind.; as well as her grandson, John Worthington.

Family members who have passed are her parents, Virdon and Nora Jenece Ort; her brother, Jack Ort in 1995 and her son, John Henry Adams in 1976.

Friends and family may gather on Friday, July 29 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 West Main Street on U.S. 12.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29 at the funeral home, presided by the Rev. Jeff Reese, pastor of Hope United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery.
