David and Nancy Shufelt

David and Nancy (Geminder) Shufelt of Niles celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Jan. 15. They were married Jan. 15, 1966 at Community Congregational Church in South Bend.

David was employed at Clark Equipment in Buchanan for 20 years and was self-employed for 20 years. He is now retired. Nancy was self-employed for 30 years.
They are now attending Hope Community Church in Niles.
Their children include David D. (Melissa( Shufelt, Jr. of Kalamazoo; the late Joseph E. Shufelt; Carrie A. Shufelt of Niles; and Karla A. (Kyle) Mullen of Buchanan.
The have four grandchildren: Derek Shufelt, David M. Shufelt, Alec Shufelt and Jacob Shufelt.
To celebrate, the Shufelts took a trip to Oahu and Big Island, Hawaii.
