Miss Dowagiac’s last appearance

Miss Dowagiac Katie Haneberg and her court, First Runner-up Taylor Gross, Second Runner-up Alyse Pellow and Miss Congeniality Marissa Tidey were downtown Saturday during the 15th annual Ice Time Festival.
Miss Dowagiac and her court made a special appearance at the Ice Time Festival this weekend.
They helped frost and decorate cookies and make crafts at Red Raven.
This was the last official appearance by Miss Dowagiac and her court before crowning their successors on Feb. 26.
Tickets for Miss Dowagiac 2011 will be going on sale to the public on Sunday, Feb. 20, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Dowagiac train depot.
The Daily News will begin profiling the 13 young women seeking Katie’s title on Wednesday.
