Online readers of the Niles Daily Star, Dowagiac Daily News, Cassopolis Vigilant and Edwardsburg Argus will see a fresh new look for the websites beginning Friday.

Leader Publications is scheduled to unveil its improved sites for the Friday editions of the Daily Star and Daily News and today’s Vigilant and Argus. These upgrades coincide with similar “makeovers” throughout the Boone Newspapers, Inc. family of publications. We are crossing our fingers the transition will run smoothly and on schedule.

The website addresses will remain the same: nilesstar.com, dowagiacnews.com, cassopolis vigilant.com and edwardsburgargus.com.

The new website templates will offer easier navigation of our sections as well as more photographs. We hope to eventually include links to websites for our newest additions to Leader Publications, Off the Water, a monthly newspaper (weekly from April through September) distributed along Lake Michigan, and Third Coast Living, a new lifestyle magazine launching soon.

We appreciate any feedback regarding our new websites. Please contact any staff member with comments or questions about the new look.

Name change

Beginning with this issue, I will be using my married name, Rohman, instead of my maiden name, Johnson. My e-mail address will be changed in the next week to coincide with my name, but any e-mail sent to katie.johnson@leaderpub.com will still be forwarded to my new address, katie.rohman@leaderpub.com.
