Brandywine kickers topple LMC

The Brandywine boys varsity soccer team beat the visiting Lakers from Lake Michigan Catholic 4-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bobcats jumped out early scoring their first goal at 5:56 of the first half. Aaron Marquardt scored the ‘Cats first goal with an assist from Jake Wieger.
Wieger scored Brandywine’s second goal, unassisted, at 15:10, and got his second assist on Marquardt’s second goal of the game at 16:48.
Leading 3-0 at halftime, Brandywine took a 4-0 lead when Alex Ulrickson scored with assists to Elliott Richardson and Matt Leibetrau.
LMC scored the games final two goals. Trey Smithers tallied the team’s first goal at 67:48, and Connor Roden followed it up with another at 79:22.
Brandywine hosts Niles at noon on Saturday.
