NILES — A missing Niles woman was located in her parents’ subdivision at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday after Herman, was dropped off by an unknown  motorist.

Emily Herman, 26, has been reported missing from Howard Township in Cass County since Monday night. Herman got into an argument with family members Monday at about 5:30 p.m. Herman was last seen walking westbound on Impalla Drive toward M-51, in the Misty Acres subdivision.

She is emotionally impaired and without her prescribed medication, she could have an adverse reaction.

Troopers are attempting to locate and interview the motorist at this time.

This was the third missing person case locally in a week and a half.

Mary Schulz, 91, was reported missing from the Brentwood Assisted Living Facility in Niles July 8. She was found two days later on South Third Street. She was hospitalized, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are under investigation.

The second missing person, Charles Wagner, 43, of Cassopolis was gone for nearly two weeks before he was discovered near Stone Lake in Cassopolis on Saturday. He was taken to the hospital with dehydration. Police are still investigating the case.
