The Cass County Road Commission has been notified by MDOT that they will be reconstructing M-60 in the low spot just west of town.

This area frequently has water over the road.

They will have the road closed from early August through the first of October as they excavate a deep peat layer and reconstruct the road.

The detour will use Hospital Street to M-62 then back to M-60.

In preparation for the detour MDOT will be resurfacing Hospital Street from Mullen Road to M-62 and putting a temporary four-way stop at Hospital and M-62.
