Robert and Patricia Shepard will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2010. They were married at Bertrand Bible Church on May 21, 1960 in Niles.

Robert retired from Ryder Logistics, South Bend, where he was a semi driver. Patricia retired from Walgreens in Niles.

They have three children: Robert (Robin) Shepard, of Mill Springs, N.C.; Carl (Deborah) Shepard, of Buchanan; and Lisa (Jim) Johnson, of Buchanan. They are blessed with 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Their three children are having a 50th celebration and buffet at the Greater Niles Senior Center, 1109 Bell Rd., Niles on May 22 from 1 to 6 p.m. All friends and family are invited to celebrate with them.
