Arlen Swartz and Pat Mesko celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, at Sister Lakes Community Church, 67119 M-152, Sister Lakes.

They married on March 5, 1960, at Volinia Baptist Church in Volinia.

Their four children, Kevin and Annette, Mark and Sally, Tricia and Mark Zuhl and Brian Swartz, host the celebration. They are blessed with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arlen farmed for many years and now works for Walmart Transportation.

Pat retired from Dr. J.N. Patel’s office.
