Timothy DeRyder, of Cassopolis has been awarded the LMC Athletic Baseball Scholarship from Lake Michigan College for 2009-10.

LMC has awarded more than 480 scholarships to 359 students from across the region totaling than $545,000 for the 2009-10 academic year.

The scholarship awards include privately funded scholarships and institutionally-funded scholarships and awards. Criteria for each scholarship vary, and the selection process can be based on academic excellence, talent or financial need.
