LMC remains alive in the NJCAA tourney

EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The Lake Michigan College Indians remained alive in the NJCAA Division II national tournament with a 58-52 win over Bismarck State College Thursday morning.

The Indians led 25-24 at halftime, but outscored the Mystics 33-28 in the second half to advance to Saturday.

Niles freshman Kaleigh Hill finished with two points and six rebounds, while Dowagiac sophomore Katy Stuppy had two points, two rebounds and seven assists.

Tyeacia Warren led Lake Michigan with 19 points and six rebounds, while Sarah Svoboda added 14 points and four rebounds.
